Pieces of Perfect
Pieces of Perfect
Pieces of Perfect is about a man’s frustrating and convoluted (though entertaining) search for his perfect match. It’s a romantic comedy with witty characters, humorous moments, and unexpected twists.
Michael Osprey suffered through a terrible marriage, then raised his kids alone. He found his happiness in them. They showed him what love really is. But now they're grown, and he's convinced himself that he's better off alone. His daughters feel differently.
At their urging, Michael grudgingly dips his toe back in the water. But when he last dated, things were different. He was different. Then, he tried to be what everyone else thought he should be. He always wanted more, but settled for less. Now, there would be no settling, he decided.
And yet, he finds himself torn between the ways of the old Michael that led him to hide his true self and marry wrong, and the real Michael few had ever known. Only through trial and error, fumbling through dates, does Michael begin to realize what he's looking for in a woman. What he always wanted. It's never really changed. But does she exist?.
Only through what Michael believes to be a chance meeting, arranged by his daughters, is he reacquainted with a woman from his past. Someone he'd put out of his memory long ago, when he was just a kid in college, but against whom nobody else could compare.
